About Our Company

Matsugu was founded in 1996 by three experienced translators of Japanese - Henryk Lipszyc, Bogusław Pindur, and Sławomir Szulc - all lecturers at Warsaw University.

The company's name is that of a Japanese translator from medieval times; translated loosely, "Matsugu" means, "he who faithfully transmits."

We have thus taken as the firm's motto, "Convey faithfully."

From the time of the company's foundation, our ambition has been to offer more than simply linguistic assistance. We stand ready to satisfy the needs and expectations of all clients, individuals and businesses alike, whatever they may be.

From 1996 to today, we have handled thousands of cases from almost one thousand customers in fifteen-odd countries, including Poland, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Russia, Israel, Japan, Korea, China, and the United States. At the core of our firm is a permanent staff of over twenty skilled translators, carefully chosen for their abilities in Japanese and other foreign languages.
